A Few Things to Know First
Grades, Timing, and What to Expect
Our main entry point is 6th grade, and while openings in 7th and 8th grade are more limited, we'd still love for your family to apply, since space can open up throughout the year. Applications are welcomed during our open enrollment window, and if we receive more applications than available seats, a random lottery keeps the process fair for everyone. Whenever you're ready, so are we. Click the Apply to SLA button to begin your student's application, and take your time completing it fully — it helps us get to know your family and ensures your student is considered for every opportunity ahead.
What to Expect After You Apply
You Won't Be Left Wondering
Once your application is in, our team takes it from there. If a lottery is needed, we'll share the results as soon as they're ready. If your student is offered a seat, we'll reach out by mail or email with warm next steps to welcome your family in. And if a grade level happens to be full, your student will be placed on our waitlist, where we personally reach out the moment an opening comes up.
