Science
I was born in Atlanta, GA and raised in a small, bordering suburb. I attended the University of Georgia where I earned my Bachelors of Science in Education with a focus on Exercise and Sports Science. Like many other SLA teachers, I am a second career educator. I spent several years working in physical therapy before my teaching career began at SLA in 2012. I have been here ever since. It has been awesome to be a part of such a great school!
I teach 6th grade Earth and Space Science and 7th grade Life Science. My certifications include Biology Grades 6-12, General Science Grades 5-9, and a Gifted Endorsement.
In my spare time, I enjoy golfing, boating, fishing, watching movies, serving at my church, and simply relaxing at home with my wife, Caroline, and 18-year-old dog, Oscar.
